Get that football feeling at the Victorian Australia Day Luncheon 2012

Welcome in the New Year with some networking at the Victorian Australia Day Luncheon.

luncheon

The Victorian Australia Day Luncheon, proudly supported by Australia Post,  will be held  at the Melbourne Exhibition and Convention Centre on 24 January 2012. It's the first opportunity of the New Year to bring together colleagues and friends alike and is a favourite of many businesses and organisations who support the event each year. Table costs remain very low – ($135 per person, or $1200 per table of ten) and we believe the significance of the event, the gold stamp presentation to the Legends  and the presence of the Governor of Victoria and the Premier of Victoria will add up to a very special start to the year.

In 2012, the Australia Post Australian Legends Award will recognise the four codes of football by immortalising eight of Australia’s greatest football heroes  on a postage stamp. One all-time legend and one current playing legend from Australian rules, soccer, rugby union and rugby league will be selected. The identity of the individual recipients will remain a tightly-held secret until the stamps go on sale on Friday, 20 January
