"If organisations did their job properly, then much of the burden of complexity that we all pay for today would disappear."  Professor David Sless, Communication Research Institute

Research and experience tells us that it is possible to design most information so that people can easily access and use it.  There is no longer any excuse for complicated red tape, complex product information, information overload or costly miscommunication.

Professor David Sless has spent over 20 years working with large organisations and government regulators showing them how to remove complexity, and how to create regulations that lead to clear communication beween organisations and the public.  He has presented his ideas on these and other topics concerned with communication design in over 25 countries around the world.  He brings humour and insights to his presentations and delivers solution-based information across a wide-ranging scope of professions.

David is travelling to Europe in mid-June 2009 to take part in the Data Design for Decisions (DD4D) conference - www.dd4d.net - to be held in Paris.  He will be speaking and working within Europe and the UK from 21st June until 13th August, 2009.  A full biography is available here.
