Libby Fordham Communications is a specialist Communications practice which has been in operation in Australia since 1993. It offers a range of services which work towards protecting brand reputation, raising awareness, influencing opinion makers, gaining key editorial coverage and facilitating the completion of projects.

Her work has taken her across the world and also across the spectrum of business, working in a number of fields for the purpose of engaging people in a range of topics across a number of communication channels.

Libby works with products, people and businesses to build profile and brand awareness by responding to the situation and its characteristics. It is her belief that each campaign or project requires its own individual approach. "One set of rules for one thing do not necessarily fit for another," she says.
Libby also spends her time developing ideas for businesses either to expand their services or transform the public’s experience of their company. Described as a ’doing’ person, she shows how to make things possible - no good thinking things up if they never come to fruition.
Her strong working knowledge of media infrastructure within Australia, as well as internationally, gives her an added edge when anticipating the likelihood of editorial coverage for campaigns or those whom she represents. Libby also has a strong practical and working knowledge of online communication channels. She is a creative writer who has penned speeches for politicians, CEO’s and public speakers. Her words have also been used in advertising copy, below the line collateral, newspaper articles and research material. Libby is also fully trained in media presentation and had been a regular spokesperson for many of her clients on radio, television and in the print media. She has been a book reviewer for ABC Radio, appeared on the Bill Lang Career Success program on Channel 31 and Sky and keeps commentary on all manner of things on her blog.
Libby believes that communication strategy is much more than a press release, stakeholder management and brochure. The business has produced a variety of written communication strategies for key businesses and government agencies, led by Libby's extensive knowledge of the communications landscape. Her work is anchored in providing ‘doing’ advice – her work is backed by implementation and planning experience, making her strategies instruction books for the roll out of campaigns.
She is on the Board of Governors for the Communication Research Institute, an independent, not-for-profit membership organisation with an international reputation for inventing, testing, and applying best practices in communication in business and government, for the public good.
